Wonderful cherry fruit, medium toast french oak and a hint of Rhonish dust.  Wonderful now but will continue to improve for the next 4-6 years.

Our Syrah block is the smallest on the ranch consisting of only 140 vines planted solely to clone 383 Syrah.  Historically we have made wine from these grapes for our own personal consumption so have had years to work with and perfect the flavor profile of this bottling.  Made with an eye towards the flavors of the Rhone this wine also reflects the fullness of the Sierra Series loam on the ranch.  With so few vines we can only produce one barrel of this wine annually so supplies are very limited!
